Improve Hiawatha Nordic

I support this petition. Help improve outdoor activity access in our great city!

It is so good to have otions to use the parks in the winter.

Terrific! This petition voices the enthusiasm so many of us feel. Thank you for your efforts in making our community even more enjoyable.

We need to make the most of the winter in Minnesota. Having a well kept ski trail, with a place for a break, gets people out of their houses and enjoying winter. It is this type of resource that makes Minneapolis great.

I feel that anything that can be done to get more people outside is so much better than paying additional health care costs.

I love Hiawatha golf course for skiing. I go at least 2 dozen times over the winter and it is my nature in the city winter experience (I see two foxes and one coyote every winter!) . Quiet, open, convenient! Let's keep it well groomed and maintained!

Groomed trails provide a healthy outlet for young people. Please support healthy winter activities!

This is a valuable and popular experience during out long, cold winter. Please offer it more so we can enjoy the city in this fashion.

I would love to see the trail groomed more frequently. I usually am limited to my backcountry Nordics at Hiawatha because of conditions and need to drive to Wirth for skating. I can ski to Hiawatha but it's a 20 minute drive to Wirth. Please groom more frequently. It's a really nice spot and could be so much more of a neighborhood benefit.

I've been out on the Hiawatha Golf Course skiing for a few years now, and I agree with my neighbors that it's a convenient and valuable resource for our community....it also helps with the cabin fever during the log Minnesota winters :)

Hiawatha is a wonderful asset!. It is the first place my parents learned to ski over thirty years ago and it is now the in-town ski area for my young children who learning the lifelong sport of cross country skiing. Please make Hiawatha another mini urban "mecca" for cross-country skiers. Grooming the trails on a regular basis would go a long way to improving this wonderful gem in the city!

Please help us local neighbors with the ski trail at Hiawatha Golf course. It's wonderful to have access so close to our homes, get out exercise, enjoy winter and great for the community!

It would be exciting for the city of Minneapolis to have Hiawatha groomed more often. I know that Minneapolis Parks continue to strive to be a place that encourages healthy behaviors. It would be great if South Minneapolis had a place for Cross Country Skiers that was kept up more frequently. Thanks!
