This is a big issue. I have many a time been dragged into the way of passing cars as the weight of the trolley abd trying to steer it with one hand with a child in the other is impossible. Sam x

I stopped using the store because it was so hard to get my children to and from the car

The access by the cash points is particularly bad. Trolleys often roll towards the road. Using the cash point on the way into the store is almost impossible as the trolleys don't even have brakes!

I always have to take my trolley in the way of cars as there's just no room to get the trolley on the pavement. It doesn't feel very safe at the moment.

Very frustrating trying to negotiate the slope or path from parent parking to tesco door.

Yes definitely !! If you have a small child in a trolley (Near the cash points ) the pathway slopes and makes it very difficult to push trolley and manuvore ,specially when people waiting at cash point

Trolleys, signage from the key shop, along with a slope and then having to avoid cash machine users, doesn't assist parents or carers with getting children safely into the store and back. It's not about proximity to the store it's about the ease of getting children in and out of a vehicle and the store safely. It appears employees who collect the trolleys have no concept of the dangers of positioning trolleys after collection.

Another potential solution would be to look at the possibility of relocating the parent and child spaces to a more convenient area of the car park.
