I graduated from this school in 2015. And during the school year, there would be weed smoking in the restrooms around B villa as well as student's from the charter school walking around when class already started. While this is an issue of our school as well, Independence should solely be for our students as Inde is already impacted enough.

I'm in the winter percussion program at IHS, and the fact that we can't use the gym for our instruments (that get ruined in the rainy conditions) and activities, is going to have a major effect on our program because we won't have a place to practice at all! Especially during these weather conditions. I believe these facilities belong to us and should give us priority.

Charter schools are not the real solution to anything. They just are a way to circumvent the proper allocation of resources.

It is not right for kids in athletics to has to share the same facilities as the charter schools. This causes alot of confusion and trouble. And getting the charter school off our will help not only the kids but the future students of independence.

I'm a student athlete at IHS and I just want to add that it's such a hassle having to share all of our resources with so many people. Our practice times always change, from having late night 7pm-9pm practices to having cancelled practices.

I cannot believe that IHS has to share with so many other charter schools. This only creates chaos among students and it interferes with learning. I am saddened to hear this.

I want to be able to use our school's (Independence High School) Sports Facilities and I want the school to be able to use the facilities most of the time, we are slowly losing our campus by all three charter schools on our campus.
