I own the property at 26 Sweet Pickle Place and am building on the 34 acres there. I am supportive of any ‘short term rentals’ requiring an ‘owner-occupied’ stipulation in the by-laws. I think these terms need to be defined for our collective clarity.

Owner's who wish to rent a room or a lock off unit on a short term rental agreement would be permitted as long as they "the owners" are also living on the property at the time of the short term rental. Consequently, they would have over sight and control during the time it was being rented.

Need clarification- why would a short term rental be owner occupied?

We are in complete supporting of disallowing short-term rentals in Paradise Valley, although we could see owner-occupied. We would like to see the board specify that effective immediately, short-term rentals should be owner occupied, no exceptions.
