1. We demand that Metrolinx/Crosslinx deploy dedicated traffic diversion/traffic control personnel at Westover Hill/Glenarden and, Chiltern Hill/Hilltop. This cannot be an irregular, intermittent presence, but a DAILY cadre of agents helping motorists navigate Eglinton’s ever changing construction landscape and unprecedented volume. This will help move traffic to and from the Allen in a smooth and efficient manner even with ongoing construction. 2. We demand that Metrolinx/Crosslinx reorganize and clean up the Eglinton/northbound Allen intersection to allow traffic to flow more freely along Eglinton.

The traffic is horrific!

It has become intolerable!!

These demands are reasonable and easily understood by anyone who has experienced the drive between Bathurst and the Allan on Eglinton.

It has been years that this is going on and MUST be rectified IMMEDIATELY. Also allowing new construction in the area adds to the chaos. ENOUGH!!!

We are fed up, it is taking too long. l live 3 houses south of Eglinton, and it takes me 30 minutes to cross Eglinton!

I take Allen Road north regularly to access the 401. Getting to and onto the northbound Allen Road ramp is a nightmare and dangerous to both pedestrians and drivers. Furthermore, the road conditions are dreadful and become even more hazardous in winter conditions. I have great sympathy for residents who must endure and negotiate these construction situations daily. Please put their solutions into effect immediately!

The amount of ‘workers’ I see standing around doing nothing is shocking and aggravating for the amount of taxes I pay as a low income resident is what gets MY blood boiling.

Please fix the problems now.

The entire area is brutal 90% of the time during regular business hours. Rush hour is unbearable. This is a complete joke and I feel sorry for any resident that lives in the area.

I can’t get to my house in the early eve ing without waiting in a 15 minute line. Cars are Honking and driving on the sidewalk to get around traffic. It has become beyond unreasonable.

As a resident in the area, the traffic has always been bad, but lately it’s been unbearable. Something needs to be done.

Fed up! Not being able to live in my neighbourhood! Not able to drive out of my driveway! Not able to access my house or get home from around 2:30 p.m. every day! Maybe close the Allen entrance at Eglinton so we can just live our lives safely with our families, breath fresh air without fumes, walk down our streets without stress. We need action now, not in ten years! Enough is enough!

My children go to West Preparatory public school. We walk to and from school and the traffic on the residential streets has become dangerous.
