That he was charged is ludicrous (this is a common sight with soldiers training around Townsville). That the judge didn't throw it out and has adjourned it to February is ludicrous. #illtrainwithyou

This a joke as for many years soldiers have run the streets of many towns and cities to make them selves ready for war and also in many fun runs across the country where we were well received by young and old. This is coppers gone mad they should have patted this DIGGER on the back and say thanks for putting yourself and your life on the line for your country we are proud of you and sent him on his way saying that he should have painted his fake weapon yellow. My legs are stuffed but I will be happy to put my uniform back on pack on back and carry a fake weapon in support of this soldier and run and walk to show Australians we should be proud of our service people applaud them not shun them.

This is utterly ridiculous. I understand we are living in an age where people scare easily, but this man was training to fight for his country. Go and arrest real criminals, not a bloke sacrificing his time to try and serve his country.

I served 15 yrs with ADF, I am very disappointed with the treatment this 'brother in arms' is receiving considering the QLD Police also has ex - ADF personnel in its ranks and do know better.
