As the ADF prepare to send the next rotation to the Middle East a Solider on a training run in Brisbane was charged with "public nuisance" after members of the public called police. The solider was in cams & carrying a training weight which civilians thought was a gun. Whilst I don't think it was the soldiers best idea & I commend police for investigating I do NOT believe he should have been charged with anything. I also believe we should show more public support of our ADF members & the work they do to protect all of us. ‪Please sign & share. #illtrainwithyou #solideron #ADF

This guy was in no way a danger to the public. A complete embarrassment on behalf of the QPF for bringing charges

Really ???? Really??? This is just a total waste of time and tax payers money. Fair enough stop the guy, and question him, then advise him it's not the done thing and caution him about doing it again. This whole situation is ridiculous.

Drop all charges, he doesn't deserve it for trying to be the best soldier he can be to defend Australia.
