A true Aussie patriot is shamed because of politicans and the media creating and fueling fear in this country. When an Aussie service man cannot walk the streets in uniform it is a sad day for this country.

Just because someone had no idea is not the fault of a soldier excercising. If it has if been enoggera also a suburb of Brisbane no one would have batted an eyelid.

It's very disappointing that this case has escalated so far; rather than the police identifying that some ignorant people made incorrect complaints about a soldier that was training and not presenting an actual threat.
