What a joke.
Silly thing to do in this day and age.
But the fact remains, a few people overreacted, and yet the magistrate wants to to make an example of him.
There was a time when this would simply have been handed over to his CO deliver a well placed kick up the backside because is all that it really warrants
But this this is exactly the kind of politically correct BS I come to expect out the Queensland police and judiciary.

What a joke. I have trouble wording my actual disgust at the idiots trying to crucify one of ours. Punish the judicial members, not a soldier doing his job and preparing for one of the more dangerous roles.

We've travelled all over Australia with defence and consider this very normal. I actually admire these men/women for putting in a great effort with their training. Especially on those hot and humid Townsville days. I realise the world is feeling on edge with recent tragedies but this was not one of those and this soldier does not need to have his career and future goals ruined.
