It's common practice to train like this. Charging him with public nuisance is ridiculous

A man who defends his Country should be allowed to train how he wants so he can discharge his duties when called upon to do so.

Training to defend your country is becoming illegal but wearing an item that obscures your identity is being embraced..... wtf

Absolute rubbish. If this sticks, the ADF should go on Strike. Has that ever happened? What are the legalities regarding that? Can they charge everyone?

He was only trying to gain an edge in combat by training more. This man is a hero and should be treated like one NOT a common criminal. What a joke that he would get charged.

This is discraceful that a member of our Australian Defence force is treated like this when he was simply training for the defence of the very people who complained about it !!

Should not be penalized for striving to be better at his job. Allow our soldiers more adequate areas and equipment to do personal training and this will no longer be a problem.

The fact that Baden clay is having his sentence reduced and this defence member is being dragged through courts for this is disgraceful and shows our judicial system is flawed.
