Ilford lane is a residential area. It should not be used as a venue to host social events inviting anti social behaviour

Anti social behaviour. The noise and the mess left behind is unacceptable. This kind of events should be held in a private space rather than in residential areas. Absolutely appalling.

I am a local resident of ilford ilford lane
I think it’s a shame that this council allows such events in a residential area as they hooligans drive up and down our side roads in high speeds beeping horns and playing music very loud until early morning hours
Why is it the council allows this are we not humans I start work at 5.30 am and thanks to the council who allows such events ruins my sleep
Wake up Redbridge council and have some sympathy and look at your other council what they do for their community.
We do not want any future gatherings let them do what they want away from residential area .

Community events should be held in parks, and I agree these shouldn’t be road blockages. For some people the only way out is through ilford lane

We do not need these events /celebrations happening on Ilford Lane where it causes chaos, traffic congestion, noise nuisance through late night. These events should take place at a park where police and council can control the crowds better.

The amount of noise, rubbish/ litter and ASB that occurs from these events shouldn’t allow them. If need be then they should be controlled and held in a park not on a main residential road.

As a local resident I find these celebrations highly unorganised, under patrolled and a magnet for trouble. Apart from the mess, chaos and excessive noise. Some of us have to get up in the morning. It is an absolute nightmare, for all local residents.

These celebrations bring danger, asb, noise issues, traffic issues, safety issues for children as too crowded / not enough space
There are parks where celebrations are hosted in a controlled manner so these do not need to be held on ilford lane

Please can the council make arrangements to ban these celebrations, not only on 14th / 15th August but also pre Eid celebrations, and move these celebrations to the park if needs must
Please ANY type of celebrations after 11 pm.
