I wholeheartedly support the idea of getting IKEA to open a store here in Cork. The city sits at the heart of the second largest metropolitan area in the republic, and quite frankly suffers fron a monopoly by a handful of supposedly local stores that offer kitschy and/or horribly overpriced furniture. A big change is needed to break this stranglehold.

There really should be an IKEA in Cork. Dublin is a long drive and one shop for 1 country is not good enough. So come on IKEA.
