Please sign this petition if you own an InFocus projector model 4805, and feel there is a need to obtain a newer firmware upgrade from InFocus to fix the issues associated with the latest firmware (v 1.13). InFocus released a v 1.13 firmware upgrade on December 10, 2004. This firmware upgrade reportedly enhances the base capabilities of the projector, but it also introduces a new issue, known as the \'flicker\' bug, where the screen would occasionally flicker/flash in a noticeable and distracting manner. InFocus has not released a new firmware upgrade since, leaving customers with only two options: A) Stay with the original firmware, and lose the new v1.13 capabilities, such as the improved source/resolution switching, or B) Upgrade to firmware v1.13 and experience the distracting \'flicker\' bug. Also, many users who have already upgraded to v 1.13 have found themselves stuck with that version as there is no supported/official method to revert to the original firmware.
