In a Hi-Test Silicon Smelter presentation in a Newport, Wa school, their Rep admitted 3 times that YES toxic pollutants would be pumped from the stacks into the air 24/7. Hi-Test then went on to say that Greenhouse Gasses here would be offset by their Green Footprint elsewhere. That makes all the humans + animals breathing in the toxins in a 130 mile radious collateral damage to Hi-Test Profits which they admitted will be taken to Canada where they are from.
I DO NOT WANT TO BE A HUMAN SACRIFICE!!!

This is flat out ridiculous to consider such CRAP in our community.Worse that it is being proposed by a company out of Canada.Are we really supposed to think they give a damn about the way we live? Not a chance.I sincerely hope this isnt't being considered behind closed doors just as an adventure that has the potential to bring revenue to Newport and Pend O'Rielle county.They certainly will NOT be the downwinders that residents of North Idaho will be.

Stop this smelter! We don't want them moving in close to our healthy little farm and dumping their pollutants all over us and our families. They don't care about any of us. They are only out to make a buck and the cost to our families and homes is far too great to allow them into our communities.

I strongly oppose this smelter in Newport WA which will affect not only Washington but Bonner County ID. There is only a two lane Hwy separating these two states right where they want to place this smelter.
