This is too close!!! All literature states any spills, contaminated liquids or WIND transported contaminants carrying potential exposure to silica dust WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT HUMAN HEALTH!!! The proposed site directly borders residential properties!!

I own property in ponderay county Bonner county and kootenai county and I am appalled that they would consider letting something like that go in without at least having a public vote on it.

There is absolutely no reason to have another Smelter in this state, Washington or any other. Let's conserve resources instead of wasting them and it wouldn't seem like we need something like this.

Don’t let the promise of a small number of jobs drive a Canadian business from damaging this fragile ecosystem and community!

This is won of the most under handed things I have ever heard of. I have the right to breath clean air, drink clean water and not have the soil on my property contaminated with a with acid rain . my pasture land and my orchard, will be useless .

Destroying the health and environment of thousands of people is absolutely not worth 150 jobs. There are other and far better ways to generate employment.

Let us keep our neighborhood, our area, as nice as possible. No good will come of the smelter, tremendous negative impact instead. It would only enrich a few, far away, while hurting many right here.

Seems that Gov. Inslee, County Commissioners, and County Department heads have already been bought off. there has already been documented Fraud & Deceit and yet they do nothing about it. We all need to remember this at election time!

I live near the proposed smelter site. I am in the towns of Newport and Old Town regularly for business and pleasure. We already have enough negative air pollution from the gas fired electrical generating plants in Rathdrum, Idaho. Let the Canadians put their dirty smelter in their own country. This project is going to have a very negative effect on our local economy and quality of life. When are our civic leaders going to listen to us, to our warnings about this problematic project. Vote NO.

I live down wind of this smelter and do not want to have my own lungs ingest these by products. Our trees are already stressed from climate change and this will be adversely impacted already stressed ecosystems. Dr. Nancy Gilliam
