Final supporters
Oklahoma's children, schools and communities cannot afford another four years with Janet Costello Barresi as the State Superintendent.
Her lack of support and understanding for public education has resulted in additional and unfair high-stakes testing, botched testing procedures, little to no input allowed from parents and educators, little to no transparency and accountability at the State Department of Education, and the biggest cuts to Oklahoma education funding in the country. Our children deserve an advocate for education, for their future.
On June 24, voters will decide which Republican and Democrat State Superintendent candidates will proceed to the November general election. There can only be one from each party. We have options and we must make our votes count.

Barresi has been a disaster for our schools. enough is enough. we need someone who actually listens to the teachers on the ground instead of pushing these crazy tests.
We need a State Superintendent who has taught 15-20 years and who has been a principal for at least 4 years. No one can do just to this job unless they have done these job. They have no idea what it takes to teach!
Our schools needs an understanding person that sees the big picture in education!!!
MY KIDS ARENT EXPERIMENTS!!! She clearly doesnt care about public schools at all. time for someone who actually knows how to lead.
We need collaborative, knowledgeable leadership for PUBLIC education...not for special interests, charters, and vouchers.
Our children deserve better!

tired of the constant funding cuts and the stress on our staff. we need a change this june.
