I propose to show the exec's at Global Radio just how truly wrong they are and through support of the fellow listenership demand that they Bring back our XFM and lose the c list DJ's and TV "personalities" which no one wants!
Please help us demonstrate the uniform hate for the forthcoming demise of XFM and avoid the monstrosity of Radio X
XFM Manchester fan since it's launch - thought we'd celebrate 10 years together next year - sadly not.
How hard can it be to start a radio station in Manchester with #Tim&Jim and #Boonarmy?

I was at Finsbury Park. I've listened since the test transmissions. I suspect this is going to be the end. What do any of the new line up know about rock and guitar music?? They were all on R1 and Capital which are pop music stations! What's happening to Ian Camfield and John Kennedy?? Radio6 may be about to gain a lot of new listeners. This is an awful decision.

Completely ridiculous decision, as evinced by the comments on XFMs own page. The appalling 'celeb' DJs who have no interest in the type of music you're known for are one thing, the 'just for blokes' is another - even your male listeners think this isn't on. I'm female, therefore I have to listen to One Direction or something?? Laughable, sexist and really sad. Hope you reverse this decision.

Couldn't have put it better myself! Can't imagine I will ever hear "I am the resurrection" in full on the radio ever again. Ultimately it's the music that will suffer, The 21st of September is the day the alternative music died.

I can't believe I won't be listening to Tim Cocker anymore on my way in to work and Clint Boon on my way home. These are the people who made the station so the great. Surely I am not the only person who is now thinking about looking elsewhere?

Truly imbecilic and badly thought out idea, killing off a well-respected and enjoyable station that championed regional bands as well as national ones and was instrumental in getting some pretty significant bands heard for the first time. A male-oriented radio station, are we in the 70s? Insulting and stupid!

Switched off after 2 days of Moyes and his knobbish sidekick. Bring back the old xfm, the station that shaped my music taste and introduced me to the k man pilkers
