I support Trinity United Methodist Church’s Special Permit Amendment (SPA) Application to extend weekday educational programming hours from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and allow programming for all ages. This will supplement Trinity’s current preschool program, as permitted in Trinity’s prior SPA. It will also allow the church to provide other enrichment programming such as summer camps for children and senior enrichment programs. The total number of weekday educational program students on campus at any time will be limited to 99, which is Trinity’s current educational program limitation. Trinity’s current SPA only allows weekday education programming from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm, and limits this to preschool age children.

Trinity’s Application will allow working families of Trinity Preschool and neighboring elementary schools to have before school and after school care for their children in a safe, caring, healthy, enrichment and recreation program. Parents will be able to choose a la carte, which program(s) they wish to participate, e.g., current core preschool program, before care for preschoolers, after care for preschoolers, before care for elementary students, after care for elementary students, or other enrichment programs offered by the church. For more than 30 years Trinity Preschool has provided an exceptional academic and social-emotional learning program in a creative and nurturing environment. I support Trinity’s effort to continue and expand this excellent programming and support its high standards and family-focused ministry.

My kids went to the preschool years ago and loved it. Expanding this is a total no brainer for the neighborhood.

Trinity is a staple in this town. Let them do more for the seniors and the kids. Seems like a win-win for everyone.

Finally some decent after school options around here. Makes zero sense to restrict them like this when they have the space.

Stop holding them back with these outdated hours. They run a tight ship and the community needs this.

PLEASE APPROVE THIS. We really need options for before and after school care that are actually close to home.

This would be such a huge help for working parents in the area. Trinity has always been a great spot for kids.
