It is only fair that the employees be paid for the amount of hard work and the hours they put in as instructors--all in effort to help our students achieve the highest standards in education.

As best I understand, this was an increased work load without a pay adjustment. While office hours are useful/necessary, given how little we are paid, they should be compensated.

What is the reason that office hours are not currently paid?

As a student of College of the Canyons, office hours provide students with clarification on difficult topics to grasp and to gain personal relationships with professors and peers allowing for a more efficient educational environment.

I'm an adjunct as well. It can be quite difficult.
