One of the major reasons why I moved out of state. I will Senator Sanders did a great job in getting the VA up to speed in the state.

The men and women who serve and protect us have already pledged something much more valuable then money the least we can do in return is to not tax their pay.

Vermont should exempt military retired pay 100%. If I could afford to a non tax state I would. Bad enough I forfeit my retired pay penny for penny to recieve my VA retired pay because I did not achieve twenty years service.. The answer in this state is raise taxes all the time and pay tax money to get out of staters move in .. Novel idea take care of the people that live here !!

The State of Vermont is willing to give people from other states money to move here, but not willing to take care of those who have served them and our state through the military. You wonder why people are moving out of VT to states that give us a break. Start fixing it with this bill!

I'm currently a Florida resident because taxes in Vermont are burdensome for not only military retirees but on every day Vermonters. The Vermont legislature needs to stop their tax and spend and tax some more ways and figure out how to reduce the cost of living in Vermont.

It's the least we can do for the men and women who have served our country. Maybe more military retirees will STAY in Vermont.

I served our country and state as a member of the Vermont Army National Guard for 27 years. Though never mobilized for for a combat mission, at the time I joined I wrote a check to our country payable up to and including the value of my life. I did however serve many days and nights supporting recovery operations for disasters from train wrecks, floods and ice storms.

This veteran (with no retirement pay) is absolutely for this bill. Military retirement pay should not be taxed.

The military are often overlooked once their service is done. They fought for and deserve better.

We need to keep our Vermont families here. It is well worth the loss of tax dollars to Vermont and is long overdue as well as the right thing to do!
