This is providing a small tax break for those who sacrificed much for their state and nation. Long overdue.

This would make a huge difference for me deciding to retire in VT or move.

This is way over due. And the law makers of Vermont should be ashamed they didn't do this sooner. Still not going to keep me in Vermont when I retire but it may keep those who are.

I support this bill. I still have my residency in VT but I have a second home in FL. If things don't change in VT soon I will be calling FL home. They don't have a state income tax.

If retirees stayed in VT it would add to in state work force. I see help wanted signs just about everywhere that I travel through out the state.

Retired to Georgia, where the tax laws give preferential treatment to military, both serving and veterans.

Between properties tax and state income
On a retirement income, it is becoming more and more difficult to stay in Vermont.
Not to mention tax on Social Security...
Considering moving to a state that does not- So, the Vermont will not get my my local spending dollars.

With the graying of Vermont, it would be a good idea to keep some of us here after retirement. Passage of this bill will help.

Many of my military retiree brothers have been and are moving out of State due to the extremely high taxes. This certainly would help keep these good folks in VT.

Love Vermont, but our retirement plan is to live out of state for half the year and establish residency elsewhere unless things change. We'll become tourists rather than stay Vermont residents.
