I petition that you do not retry Officer Kerrick, the jury was 8 to 4 , please do not persecute the officer for doing his job. This officer and family has suffered for over two years, please do not prolong this suffering. Justice has been served with the majority vote of the jury.

I feel this has gone too far. When will people take responsibility for their actions. When an officer gives a command follow orders until the situation is accessed and other action is taken. Blacks are doing so many shootings pretty soon we will have no protection no one will be an officer.

There is no justification for an expensive and time consuming retrial.
If there is a diverse jury the result will be the same.
The minority will never be satisfied or let the issue end.
