The one thing that stood out to me was training went against cmpd policy. If his training told him to go lethal when a tazer is pulled by a partner then that's what it should be.. CMPD needs to change either training or policy

The hold situation is sad; but I DO NOT think Office Kerrick needs to be tried again. I don't think this would have happened if Farrell would have listened. I think that he has been punished enough. As a Christian I do believe in God's intervention.

As my 13 year old son put it, "why didn't he do what he was told? Had he done that and showed respect he would not have been shot." This officer did what should have been done in this instance. If someone charged at me like that and didn't stop, I would also shoot him. This trial was ridiculous to start with as was the settlement that was made. I am sorry for the family of Mr. Ferrell but he was responsible for the outcome of what happened to him.

This was a clear case of self defense and should never been brought to trial. All these moronic protests that are backed and pay for by people that want to destroy America need to stop and stop right now. The decent taxpaying people in this nation are getting fed up with these outrages being forced on us in the name of civil rights, everytime something regretable happens,no matter what the justification.

The majority of the jury in this case were in favor of NOT GUILTY. Don't waste our tax payer money anymore. Officer Kerrick is NOT GUILTY in this matter.

The CMPD should have stood behind him & this would & should have never gone to trial. Some people think they can threaten law enforcement & they will not fight back. Do the right thing for all law enforcement to help them do their jobs.

I think the majority of the jury has spoken for Officer Kerrick and I believe from what I have read, witness on TV that Officer Kerrick fired only in self-defense. I don't think race has anything to do with this and sooner or later people have to realize what to do when confronted by an Officer of the Law. The NAACP should be teaching this instead of hatred of our Police trying to enforce their dutys.

I watched the video, there is no reason a normal person would charge at a officer and refuse commands to stop. The officer feared for his life. I would do the same if someone charged at me, even as a citizen!!!

Officer Kerrick was attacked and had to make a split second decision if Ferrell hadn't charged the officer he'd be alive today
