Officer Kerrick was wrongly accused of manslaughter and paraded around like a common criminal. The city, state and department completely ruined his life because they were scared they would have a Baltimore or Ferguson, so they decided to make him look guilty even though the dash video showed a man aggressively running towards Officer Kerrick. Wasting time and resources on another trail just to end up with the same result is ridiculous. You will not be able to find 12 people who think he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. So let him go and pay him what he deserves.

I feel that Officer Kerrick should not be retried. Jurors voted 8 to 4 that he was not guilty and to retry just to appease a minority of the population would be a waste of taxpayer dollars!

Please do not fuel the fire any more by going through yet another trial. This young policeman was just doing his job as defined by our policies.

I am so sorry for the Ferrell family losing their son/brother. I cant imagine their pain. But the Kerrick family have born a lot of pain as well. The jury of 12 that listened to all the evidence and voted 8 to 4 to acquit. This is evident that it will be the same. Don't put 2 families thru this again plus the tax payers the cost of trial and police protection for our city again. Thank you for considering this.

He was doing his job and was attacked. Everyone knows you don't break the law and you don't attack a law enforcement officer. Officer Kerrickbis not guilty. I want the police to keep doing their job and protecting the public. All lives matter.

Video shows he was attacked and was in fear for his life.
When an officer of the law tells you to stop you need to head his warning or pay the consequences of possibly shot and possibly being killed!

No retrial. Someday thugs will learn jumping an armed police officer is always a bad idea.

Absolutely ashamed of the way this young man has been treated. A Very tragic event to begin with, only worsened by 2 democrats (former chief Monroe and want to be governor Roy Cooper). Both with agendas that have nothing to do with supporting facts! Whoremongers playing to the flavor of the day is all they are about!
