Please do what is right and not put Wes through this again, it's a horrible thing when the department you work for and risk you life for throws you to the wolves. Ask yourself how you would have handled that night. I know I would like to think I would do a particular thing but we never know until we're face to face with the situation. Say a prayer before you do something that one day God will have you answer for, it that court there is no retrial there's right wrong heaven and hell. Wes Kerrick is going to heaven will you be there one day ?

I believe Officer Kerrick to be
innocent - he acted in self-defense, in the manner in which he had been trained to respond to a threat.

This trial was a total misuse of taxpayers' funds. The officer acted appropriately and the "victim" disregarded numerous verbal commands to stop and get on the ground. Instead, he chose to run at the officer and assault him. The first grand jury wouldn't indict the officer yet the state insisted on getting an indictment and to carry this to trial. The jury that was impaneled could not convict based upon the evidence presented by the state. LET IT GO!!

This officer was thrown under a city of Charlotte bus. He was doing his job and a job by the way that is so easy for one to Monday morning QB. He is innocent of these charges. Please end this.
