As shown in the video, Mr. Ferrell was the aggressor and Officer Kerrick was just defending himself. There should never have been a hung jury. It should have been a NOT GUILTY verdict. It's tragic that a young man lost his life; however, if he had obeyed Officer Kerrick he would be alive today.

With the jurors 8-4 decision I feel the State did not present compelling evidence to convict Officer Kerrick.

Please do the right thing, dismiss all charges against Wes Kerrick. Do not make this a persecution vs a prosecution. Burnette/Nobles 1993 is enough example to conclude he was justified to defend himself and all Law Enforcement went home safe to their families. John/Andy did not and I was and will be affected the remainder of my life.

Stop the witch hunt. The DA didn't want to prosecute, it took 2 grand jury's and now a mistrial with Majority (8-4) voting not guilty.
