Enough is enough. This is a good man and dedicated officer. I believe in his innocence. You have to be ignorant not to.

This officer did what he had to do to protect himself. CMPD and political leaders are trying to throw him under the bus. I would hate to be an officer in this department.

I feel as if the evidence was clear that Officer Kerrick acted on his training and fear that he was about to attack and killed. A reasonable person would obey commands or run away. The Government has declared war on the police, but do not take this out on this officer. Don't make this a political agenda for the governor's race either.

I suppport Officer Kerrick. All of the facts in this case point to an officer doing his job in the face of an agressive adversary.
The question I ask myself is this: If the suspect in his case had NOT charged him and been agressive to the point of instilling fear of dangerous bodily harm or death to any police officer with a weapon, would we have the same outcome.
It is an aasy answer and conclusion , knowing Officer Kerrick.
Let this be the end of it. Do not allow this to be drug on at the expense of the taxpayer and play into the hands of those would would love nothing more than to see us and this situation pulled into the limelight of NAACP and the like.
The fact is, an Officer had to make a tough decision. The suspect in his case made a stupid, life threatening decision. Please, I ask that you close the case for this poor officer and let him have his life back.
