We all know he followed procedure.... The state needs to not re trial this case to just keep from looking like the railroading morons they are.

Officer Kerrick did his job the way he was trained to do it. He did what every other police officer does every day, put on a bulletproof vest, uniform and strap on a gun to protect our society and now he is being persecuted for doing his job, end this now sir!

If someone was running at me and I had the information that the caller had given, I would have shot them too. Race doesn't even enter the equation. Red, black, white, purple...I would shoot.

I support officer Kerrick. I think it's a shame that the government paid money to the family instead of standing up for the officer. When a suspect fails to stop when the officer repeatedly calls on him to stop, he must face possibility of dire consequences. Apparently the tazor had already failed.. Mr. Ferrell appeared to have enough strength to be capable of killing the officer by getting the officer's gun or choking him. If I were an officer for Mecklenburg county or the city, I'd be asking for a transfer or looking for a new job! ..
