I truly believe that it would be a waste of time and money to retry officer Kerrick. Based on the information available to officer Kerrick and the fact that Jonathan Ferrell charged at him and failed to obey his commands any reasonable person would have feared for his life.

As shown in the first moments of interaction that night. ( VIDEO EVIDENCE).You dont charge at police officers when they repeatedly ask you to stop.No matter your ethnicity. MOST parents teach us that as children.

I respectively request that Officer Kerrick be exonerated of these ridiculous charges and that he be reinstated with the CMPD and given his back pay.

An 8-4 not guilty jury seems pretty clear that the burden of proof to show malicious intent and negligence on the part of the officer is just not there.

He never should have been prosecuted for this, he was doing his job and got attacked!!!!! People have to learn they can't do whatever they please, including being aggressive towards an officer and then everyone complains at the results.

DO NOT retry Officer Kerrick! In these cases the news only reports what they want the public to hear and they incite more unrest by never reporting that the blacks DID NOT obey the officers command to get on the ground or stop. These officers risk their lives every time they go to work. People, respect the authority of our law officers and teach your children to respect them and others. If they are shown respect and obey the officer's commands, lots of this violence will go away.

I believe the jury will end up the same if you re-try it. I think the jury has spoken and Officer Kerrick got the answer to this case. If i had been on the jury i would acquitted him. I think the 8/4 vote will be repeated again if it is retried.
