The department confirmed my reappointment to the council today. It has been an exhausting road to get here but securing this seat ensures our community remains represented. I will be watching the upcoming planning sessions closely to make sure our work at Peacock Flats actually moves forward.

I have been the Na Ala Hele council representative for OHV on Oahu for the last year and a half and have been working with the Dept. of Forestry and Wildlife on future improvements at Peacock Flats as well as getting potentially new areas open to OHV activity. The bureaucratic process is draining and the progress at Peacock Flats feels painfully slow right now. I am still pushing for these new areas despite the constant roadblocks because we deserve a space to ride.

I support Mr. Weber. He is active in the wheeling community advocating for responsible offroading, trail maintenance, caring for the environment, etc.
