This man did nothing to brake the law and should have been protected under the laws of free speech. I stand with him.

Ridiculous. Canada is supposed to be a haven for Free Speech and yet here we are. This country is going to hell with garbage cases like this.

This is terrifying. Smacks of absolute fascism; I hope someone wakes up and throws out this ridiculous case very soon.

If you think giving SJW's this kind of power won't come back and bite you in the ass, you are delusional.

All props to Canada and Canadians, but as a United States citizen, I still have to say "Thank God for the First Amendment."

Dangerous precedent setting abomination. They need to shut this kind of thing down, now. I can't even believe the crown would consider prosecuting this. If he's found guilty, then you can't speak your mind? Time to rebel.

This has YUUUUGE ramifications for everyone if the crown is able to prosecute this man. I'm signing because people should not be allowed to misuse the courts in order to ruin a person's life for having a difference of opinion. Even if that disagreement was laced with potent language, this is completely unacceptable and will destroy every other freedom we have.

This is a common sense issue for a society built on liberal principles. Thank you for organizing this effort.

This is completely ridiculous and shows a total disregard for free speech. The feminist religion has gone too far, equal rights were achieved years ago. Stop playing the victim.

The feminist movement has been hurt by zealots, as has many other movements. By attacking Elliott in this extreme manner, Guthrie and Reilly have done harm to their cause -- i.e., feminism -- and, more importantly, harmed an individual - disproportionately greater than the actual offence -- that dared to criticise the feminist cause. Guthrie and Reilly have much to answer for ...

This is abhorrent. One would think that we are past these sorts of abortion of justice, because...to paraphrase Justin Trudeau: It's 2016.

The tyranny, the corruption, and the usurpation of law besmirch the integrity of Canada. These conspiratorial and spiteful women need to be brought to justice. The artist should get a formal apology from the Canadian justice system. These women should be fined a large sum for the personal and financial devastation this trial has caused for the artist.
