Let's hope we win one for freedom of speech. This is a horrible abuse of power.

I see this as wrong there are games doing this about just about every ideology group; the harassment this man has suffered is unjust, unfair and unethical

Thank goodness you won your case. Nothing worse than a troll who goes after you because you disagreed with their opinions. Please sue them and make sure they learn a valuable lesson. Those two women (and they are barely that) crossed the line. Good luck with your future. You are a strong guy to live through this. Hope your sons and family come through this.

I don't want this society become one where you have to be afraid of being born a man. Woman should have the same rights as men, not more and not less.

The sour fruits of Feminism are ripening and the majority of men do not understand how malicious men haters will use the law to ruin or control men. All the best for Greg and I am sorry he has to endure this inappropriate use of the law - I hope Canada and the wider world wake up to the consequences of not standing up to radical Feminists in positions of power. They argue over legislation for years until dangerous laws are implemented. The laws are implemented in good faith, with few anticipating how malicious activists and those engaged in 'privileged victim identity politics' will use the law to bring unjust suffering. The UK has just put in a similar law that will bring untold suffering - the coercive control regulations. If you live in the UK, this is coming to a town near you too.

For a man to lose his freedom to work for so long, based on such spurious evidence is shameful. The Canadian justice system is becoming little more than an instrument of a politically correct police state.

A man who stands up to a bully should not have to pay for it, Guthrie is a spoiled little princess with a nasty demeanor if she doesn't get her way, to the point of lying to get people on her side.

Greg should not have been thrown under the bus the way he was because one woman's fee-fees were tickled. All the best for him and justice for Greg.

I support this petition for the following reasons: 1) It is unjust, for the sake of Gregory Alan Elliot in, to be punished so severely for simply arguing over social media about a subject of known controversy. 2) For my own sake, as a Canadian citizen who believes in free speech, I will not allow the establishment of a precedence of a case where free speech was so utterly, yet legally, oppressed.

Freedom of expression should never be censored. Being against the grain doesn't make you a criminal it makes you a real activist

Let us not give up freedom of speech to the thought police. This reminds us that sympathy towards organised feminism can backfire with terrible consequences if one does not obey at all times, just like a mafia. This case having lasted 15 court days over no evidence at all is proof of a terrible corruption that should be investigated.

If this case awards Mr. Elliott a "Guilty" verdict, I want it on the record for future generations to see, that myself, and other fellow Canadians, did not wish to see Liberty, Freedom, and Rights die in Canada without a fight.
