Joe is a Godly man that I have known for a year now. I am ashamed to say I once played football with the district commissioner Aaron Leavell. He needs to man up and admit he is wrong.

I support Coach Joe and his right to exercise his personal freedom of religion to be able to pray openly on the football field after the games!! He is not forcing others to join him. They are free to do what they want in terms of praying with him or not joining him. He should not lose his job over this. He is exactly the type of person that Bremerton High School should want as a coach. A caring man of deep faith who recognizes where his strength and wisdom and caring heart comes from...God Almighty...and is willing to give thanks to God publicly! Thank God for men like Coach Joe!!

When Daniel was in a similiar situation, he prayed just as he had always done and heaven's jurisdiction upheld his actions. Daniel 6:10

Stand strong Coach Joe, for trying to preserve virtue. It is time to defund ACLU.

The "Superintendent" is as low as Obama. SHAME on him.

What an awesome role model the school district is for our children! What a joke!

I'm sure if he took his prayer rug on the field with him, the school would be fighting for his right to do so. The district needs to focus on teaching our children critical thinking, not this.

Bremerton High held a Baccalaureate Service as lately as June 2014... and perusing school policies, I do not see where this behavior is prohibited.

We are seeing values turned on their head. Right is wrong and wrong is right. God help us!

Congress shall make NO LAW restricting the establishment of a religion or prohibit the free speech thereof.

The first amendment also states that congress is also barred from "prohibiting the free exercise of religion." Your actions are in direct violation of the First Amendment.

Eight years of good vs one, small voice of evil in the name of "PC." Yikes! Don't succumb.

Unreal to see educators trying to destroy our country's religious freedom. May all patriots arise to fight tyranny once again.
