They were not forced to pray, they chose to pray. Nothing wrong with that! How do the schools explain their forcing children to read the Koran but you can't read a Bible by choice.

Joe, Thanks for standing for what you believe in, may we as believers all have boldness, and pray without ceasing. Stay strong in the Lord and the Power of HIS might my brother. Brian Ward Renton WA

Stand strong on the 1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

What about the wearing Muslim head coverings? That definitely shows their religion and ALL the time. Prayer is always a positive thing!

It is amazing to me that school officials purport to know the law before actually knowing how a federal court would rule on this issue. Oh, right. We are part of the liberal 9th Circuit, the court that supports liberal and amoral education.

When will you stop this madness. I saw a public elementary school near my house that was all decorated up in Halloween décor and was having a student - parent Halloween party last night. Do they also have a celebration of the birth of Jesus there? No, that is forbidden. The state is now recognizing a pagan holiday with celebrations taking place on school property. YHWH God will win no matter how hard you attempt to do away with Him.

Thank you for taking a stand. I pray that all the Christians in Bremerton and the surrounding area will take a stand with you before it's too late.

What is wrong with this school district? The coach is doing nothing wrong! Are you trying to appease 1 atheist in the district? The coach is not pushing his religion on any one! Get over it and leave him alone!

Leave the man alone. He is not forcing his belief down anyone's throat. Why can't we also have freedom for religion and not just from it ?

Lewis warned in the forties that they don't teach logic anymore. In our day they don't teach history anymore. Separation of Church and state has been redefined for a politically correct atheist or practical atheist agenda.
