I want to see Sidewalks & Bike Lanes, on both sides of Hwy 9, from Henry Cowell State Park entrance to Ben Lomond Valley Churches/BL Market. After that I want to see Safe & Wide Bike Lanes the entire length of Highway 9 especially where it isn't practical to put in sidewalks.

Besides safer bike and pedestrian access, the entire student-dropoff flow in and out of the schools needs to be totally overhauled. Also, the stoplight at the High School needs to be upgraded to add a red no-right-turn arrow for south-bound drivers turning into the high school when the oncoming north-bound turn lane has it's green left-turn arrow, AND, when the light is green for cars driving OUT of the high school onto HW9. I've seen so many close calls in that confusing intersection.

There should really be a sidewalk from South Felton to the schools! This is a start though!

I really hope this works out but I'm worried about the people further up the mountain too. The bus routes being cut are going to have a negative impact on everyone up there. How are people going to get to work and school and college? :(

My child has biked to school along Highway 9 specifically in the area described by this petition, and has been involved in a bike accident. The improvement work is extremely important.

At long last! A sidewalk is needed all the way to the intersection of Graham Hill.

I often see pedestrians along this busy stretch of road and there is no good place for them to walk.

This is basic safety for our children. It's 2016 and we don't have a sidewalk or bike path that leads to our school.

In addition the "25 Mph when children are present" school zone sign is impossible to see as it's blocked partially by trees and not at driver eye level. There needs to be better signage in both directions along HW9 indicating that drivers need to slow down and where the school zone starts and ends.
