Make The Rec Center Climbing Gym Big Enough

We definitely need an indoor Climbing gym in Jackson a safe place for people of all ages and abilities who can experience climbing. There are so many individuals in the area who climb as there main outdoor recreational activity.

Jackson needs a legit climbing gym.

Please allocate a MINIMUM of 10,000 to 12,000 square feet of climbing area! Even this is not a lot for the climbing population of Jackson and growing number of tourists. With climbing included in the Olympics this summer, it will certainly attract more participants. A youth climbing program would be a great asset to Jackson. It's a rewarding and exciting sport that kids can enjoy recreationally or competitively, and it's still small enough for kids to succeed at a high level. What I love about climbing is that it's collaborative and friendly, even at a competitive level, where fierce competitors cheer for each other.

I can't believe Jackson doesn't have a world-class climbing gym for all levels of climbers!

Crowded climbing gyms and waiting on routes is no fun! Let’s make a community with such deep roots in climbing and mountaineering and world class facility

This is a huge part of the Jackson community. Never have I seen a place with so many climbers and no climbing gym.

A town like this need a gym that is big enough for the need.

As a climber and a member of the adaptive community please make the climbing area inclusive and viable to all.

I am not sure if I have already signed this but I am all for a larger community climbing gym.

Yes! This facility will get a lot more use than we might expect, especially being an indoor, year-round climbing gym. Definitely needs to be larger than originally proposed.

The Teton Range is a world renown alpine climbing destination. Full of historically significant events, to the sport of rock climbing. A quality climbing gym would not only foster a greater climbing community, but also expressed community values. Develop a larger quality rock climbing to support the Jackson , Wyoming community and seasonal visitors.
