Finding a place to sit is hard enough as it is. The fact they're doing renovations during the busiest time of the semester, and not a month later when the semester ends, is disrespecful of the university.

Wandered around the library for 20 minutes yesterday before I finally found somewhere to sit. Not acceptable. Give us an alternative if you’re going to remove so much seating.

The best option to ensure that students' needs are best met would be to postpone renovations until exam season (or this semester) is over. The third floor is an incredibly valuable space for working and studying without interruption.

With limited study space in the library (and on campus in general) already, we can’t afford to give up the space in the busiest month of classes. This is ridiculous.

November is a critical month for studying and the library is crammed as it is. This would be a poor choice in timing for students if renovations were to begin now.
this is crazy! we need space to study.
