As someone who is only focused when noise and other factors are cancelled out the third floor is a place where I can study effectively on campus and fits my needs for learning so I think it would be completely reasonable for the construction to be moved because for the amount that I and other students spend on Tuition to use those facilities they should take into consideration the needs of the students and push it to a point such as the beginning of second semester when there is less stress and students needing the space.

I use the Third Floor and having it as a quiet place is fundamental for my learning and to focus.

I use the quiet floors in the library all the time and it’s fundamental for me and several other students to have peace of quiet to focus.

The 3rd floor of the library is one of the only truly quiet, accessible places to study on campus. Taking it away in such a crucial part of the semester I believe is a mistake.

The third floor is the main place I study, also the main place I find most (9/10) of the books that I need for my upcoming term papers
