we got word that the funding is secure and they are backing off for now. honestly im still a bit shocked we pulled this off but so glad we did. thanks to everyone who stepped up and signed to keep these services open.

Planned Parenthood has always been about helping women and families get the healthcare they need. Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of reproductive health services in the U.S. and offers sexual and reproductive health care to around 5 million women and men yearly worldwide. Planned Parenthood offers the following services, 3% of the services in 2012 involved abortions, sexual education, pregnancy prevention and birth control. In 2014, 17,419 people received prenatal care from Planned Parenthood. 42% of the services provided by Planned Parenthood in 2012 were on sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment. Planned Parenthood offers more than just contraceptive services. We want to show the government that we still care and are willing to fight to keep funding Planned Parenthood. Planned parenthood provides me with contraceptive for ovarian cysts that prevent me from working because I cannot afford insurance. One small example of the many things planned parenthood provides me and many other women

They helped me with my screenings when I was between jobs and had zero coverage. Keep them open!
Access to healthcare is a human right. Stop attacking these clinics.
PP has been there for me through so much. We really need this funding kept in place.
