Planned Parenthood has always been about helping women and families get the healthcare they need. Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of reproductive health services in the U.S. and offers sexual and reproductive health care to around 5 million women and men yearly worldwide. Planned Parenthood offers the following services, 3% of the services in 2012 involved abortions, sexual education, pregnancy prevention and birth control. In 2014, 17,419 people received prenatal care from Planned Parenthood. 42% of the services provided by Planned Parenthood in 2012 were on sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment. Planned Parenthood offers more than just contraceptive services. We want to show the government that we still care and are willing to fight to keep funding Planned Parenthood.
