I am disgusted with the CUSD board. If Mike Halt is not reinstated, the current board must not be re-elected.

Principal Halt has accomplished so much at San Clemente High School in such a short time. He is an asset to the district and the community.

Principal Halt turned around SCHS for his two years there. His dedication to his students, staff, and parents is unmatched. His removal from SCHS is uncalled for, with no legitimate reasons as to why he could possibly be removed. Removing this dedicated, caring principal from his job would only damage SCHS and the San Clemente community.

Principal Halt's positive impact on the entire SCHS community is clear. His sudden dismissal is disheartening and baseless.

My husband and I have been a part of CUSD our whole lives. We both spent 12 years as students ourselves and now our first son is graduatiing this year from SCHS and our second is entering his freshman year in the fall. I find Mr Halts dismissal very disturbing! Please reinstate Mr. Halt!!!
