Mr. Halt was the only principal that truly cared about the students, staff, and programs. We all LOVE MIKE HALT!

I'm pretty sure we all know those at the district are so far removed from education and our children,,they just don't care about anything other than their own raises and promotions,,,,What you get rid of a good guy and have our kids start school in classrooms that don't even have fans,,beginning of this year we had 3rd graders bringing their own extra water and laying their heads with paper towels on their necks to cool down.,,,I'm guessing it is time to clean the slate at the district level,,and then join those that are going to private expensive educations in stead of getting what we already pay for,until the district cares about our children!!

i am shocked. all of my 5 kids went to schs and one is just finishing. my daughter and all her friends say great things about their principle and have since he first arrived. they arexproud of him and visa versa, and kids need inspiration and a leader who is there for them. i know he wrote glowing letters of recomendation to colleges on behalf of students who asked. again, just a great man and leader and i am appauled that someone would think that firing him was a good idea. frankly the school board is a joke and the problem and i hope the person who fired him moves on to another district.

I have not yet had the opportunity to meet Mr.Halt personally yet, but the few times I have heard him speak, he sems like a principal who is very in touch with his students. As marine spouse and mom of an upcoming freshman, I was pleased to know that he is a former marine as I feel it gives the students who are military kids a sense of understanding!
