The feedback coming in has been heavy and often pointed but I remain committed to seeing this through to the end. It is exhausting to navigate the pushback while keeping the goal in sight. We are staying the course regardless of the noise.

When do we stand up against the endless push for polarization and hatred in politics? They are honoring Speaker Boehner too. Two Catholics, doing their best. Glad to hear they will both be at the graduation 15 years after mine.
Thank you Joe for fighting for the uninsured, women's rights and immigrant rights i.e. life.
Good man with religious conviction and a life focus on helping humanity, loving his family and supporting the concepts of equal treatment for all. I thought those were some of the basics of the faith.
Sometimes being a good Christian violates Catholic teachings. Case in point here. Good for ND. Joe Biden is a great choice. Class of '80
I think Vice President Biden is an excellent person to be a recipient of this award. No one this year has come close to illustrating, illuminating the importance of his faith in his life. Great choice.
I have more problems with awarding the medal to Jon Boehner.

Joe Biden has fought for Catholic values for three decades as a Senator and now the Vice President. His support of a woman's freedom to choose is not indicative of a pro-abortion stance. Biden is personally opposed to abortion but understands that he should not force his religious views on others. Just as many conservative Catholics say about the faith, the separation of Church and State is not a pick and choose or cafeteria-style system.
