The council thinks they can make these utility decisions for us but our signatures show they are wrong. Post this link on your Facebook page and email your local representative to demand an immediate end to this opt-out scheme. We need to keep the pressure on them until they back down.

The momentum behind this push proves that Howell residents refuse to have these utility decisions forced upon us. Email your council representative today and demand they respect our right to choose our own energy providers.

Tri-Eagle Energy, who won the bid process that was instituted by Howell Township, is now billing me $590 through my JCPL bill because Howell Township has cancelled there Aggregation arrangement with Tri-Eagle Energy. If everyone who was on this program gets an exit bill like I got it would only take 1700 households to create a million dollar windfall for Tri-Eagle!
Do not vote this in, deregulation is a joke in nj. Believe me I know. I've worked for a local utility for nearly 30 years
Please DO NOT DO THIS!!! Enough BIG Government in our lives telling US what we have to do. I will for sure OPT OUT and this is just another reason along with the property taxes that there will be a For Sale on our front lawn VERY soon!!!
Using an Opt Out Method is just bad governing. Let the free market find what products and services are preferred by consumers.
DO NOT go through with this!! I have read about or saw on the news too many horror stories with these third party suppliers. If someone wants to switch they can do it on their own!!!!
I don't think Howell Twp should overstep their power and I should be able to make my own decisions.
The township has no right to automatically switch our electric company. This goes way beyond what a township government should be involved in.

I am totally opposed to being forced into having to opt out of this. The township should have this so that if you WANT this you have to sign up for it. The choice of a public utility is my own choice and not the townships.
