Ignored the voice of citizens. Public meetings were all strategically designed to be siloed and isolated. Failed to obtain necessary permits after changes were made in plan. New City Park bridges not needed.

DOTD must be out if there minds to restrict traffic on an already out of date interstate system. It will be a fiasco and terrible detriment to our city and it's citizens. So ashamed of the terrible way things are done in Baton Rouge. No real leadership at any level. Stand up now before it is too late to stop this recklessness and insanity. Say NO!!!!

I have a different option that would alleviate all traffic pains even to surface streets of BR.

Too many aspects of this project seemed to so unplanned and according to an atty. from the State Attys.GeneralsOffice there has been no transparency.This whole project will havereally bad adverse affects on BR.

Quality of life will be adversely affected if the proposed plan of the DOTD is allowed to move forward. Yes the widening of I-10 needs to happen, but in a responsible fashion.

Why not have public discussion regarding the impact (monetary, lost time, and impaired efficiency) one lane each way will have on all aspects of our community: business, healthcare, product delivery and wasted gas and diesel caused by parking lot Interstate lanes.

Against the current plan by DOTD to close I10 lanes as planned. Consider less costly & disruptive alternatives which I believe exist!

Hold the damn hearing. You, DOTD need to be transparent about your intent, planning, execution and interference with commerce in B.R. So far you have been deceitful and that is unacceptable.

I am in favor of widening I-10 but I think that the timing is very troublesome. From my point of view, the widening needs to occur after a new bridge is constructed and significant improvements have been made to the ferrying capabilities. I believe that the resources need to be redirected until alternate pathways are established.

I want more investigation on this proposed I-10 project. I want other options considered and I want to know why other options aren’t being looked at.

The driving public in Baton Rouge and those of us who drive to and through the area suffer through the constant traffic snarls, delays, closures and detours need to have input and at least actual human beings to answer questions and explain issues. Millions of dollars spent and the agony and hazards never end, they simply relocate. In addition, people who drive through these mazes and live along these routes probably have a wealth of information they can share that might not be available to engineers working from offices and on computers, visiting the sites occasionally. Public hearings are the least you can do for the motoring public.

This project needs to be halted ... and the citizens of EBR given the opportunity to see the plan presented by Coleman Brown, et al.
