I-10 BR Widening: Economic impact study? Public hearing?

There should be a public hearing and environmental impact statement before this project goes forward.

DOTD appears to not be paying attention nor listening to the public on our recommendations about this new interstate project. There are many viable solutions presented that would save a lot of money and they will not hear of it. We are missing some pieces of this puzzle and their blatant disregard for any reasonable solution is telling me the direction of this project is being decided by the higher ups and DOTD has to handle all the flak.

This will impact the integral beauty of this city . Ruin any intrinsic charm that may be left . And make the people living in this city like a hornets nest in fire . This beautiful old city can NOT take any more of your “help.”

DOTD has it all wrong

The socio-economical impact of one lane open during construction would be unacceptable.

The proposed plan will make all our lives more difficult. It is not a well thought out plan for the community

It is only right and just!

There a several plans presented that would work better than the one DOTD came up with. STOP THE MADNESS!

This is a major corridor for the southern United States . This is going to buckle the South! Not just affecting Louisiana… We need to figure out a way to widen without shutting it down. It’s done all over the US. It can not move forward.

Please use COMMON SENSE when making these plans. There has to be a better way to plan and stage this project. Stop wasting our time and our money.

It's clearly overdue time that the LDOJ investigate the incestuous relationships between the DOTD and it's consultants that spend millions of dollars over years to produce and plan and construction schedule that is unworkable and at best deficient.

Stop wasting our tax $$$$$$

All savings should be reallocated to pollard-protected multi-use paths

Please don't not closed the I-10 or the Interstate at any part of it to 1 lane in both directions. This will only make things worse for all.

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE the way DOTD has handled this I-10 BR Widening. For years I've attended meetings and DOTD has been there with eyes closed and deaf ears. THIS WILL SHUT DOWN BATON ROUGE! The new head of DOTD said 3/7/23 that we just need to find alternate routes. I already don't travel the interstate. THERE ARE NO ALTERNATE ROUTES. Our road system is a cluster.

Please consider this project more thoroughly.
