It's so easy to fix but can wreak havoc on your body and life. HPT should be screened for and dealt with to decrease future illnesses like stroke or osteoporosis. Also dementia like symptoms.

Parathyroid disease wrecks lives and yet can very often be easily diagnosed by doctors carrying out simple blood tests. Anyone with vague physical or cognitive symptoms should have their calcium and parathyroid hormone levels tested. One blood draw - simple.

This condition nearly wrecked my life for 15 years. Finally the tumour was found and my operation was 3 days a go. I am finally looking forward to a life without pain. No one should have to live in so much discomfort when there is an easy solution. Doctors should stop diagnosing ridiculous fibromyalgia and find the very real life threatening problem.

Get the word out... High Calcium is Bad!! It sucks the life out of you- it slowly kills anyone in its path, and it can be cured!! Self advocacy should not be the only way out of this debilitating disease. It's time that the Health Care system knows and understands the signs and symptoms! We need serious awareness here folks!!
