Took a year of suffering to be diagnosed primary hyperthyroidism then put on High Dose of Vitamin D by endocrinologist which add new symptoms and suffering. I then decide to get Norman Parathyroid Center opinion and thanks to Dr Andrew Rhodes who remove 3 malfunctioning adenomas ,on June 1, 2022 I feel perfectly fine 1 month later and my 1 inche scar is really hard to see. Believe your instinct.

It is essential that doctors should be educated about this illness, of which most are unaware even though it exhibits so many varied symptoms & causes much sufffering.

This disease really needs to be highlighted in the media so that many more people are made aware of the damage it can do to us. That includes the medical profession.

I have been ill for years and have recently been diagnosed with this condition. Doctors need to be educated on the symptoms of this disease in order for those that suffer to get the right treatment

There is nowhere near enough information and coverage regarding this disease, which if left undiagnosed is very serious. We need more information spread to highlight it.

My wife was lucky to be diagnosed and operated on after probably 20 years of symptoms. Even after getting blood tests clearly showing parathyroidism, the GP said the results were normal.

It took over 10 years of hypercalcemia (high calcium in the blood) before Drs took notice of the blood results and told me. A lot of damage was done to my body in that time. More people need to know about this disease.

This disease is a thief, and very misunderstood by medical professionals and family members, let's get a good understanding of this disease across the board, instead of being a lottery
