Hydrocephalus does not mean brainless

I have a brain . Matter of fact mine is too big for my skull.

Should be lots of more information about hydrocephalus so many people never heard of it or how it affects people and is a life time condition

I'm signing because my 3 year old granddaughter was born two months early suffering with severe hydrocephalus. She is a lively, happy child who learns and develops every day

I am 29 years old played rugby,football been working on building sites and now im a engineer for a railway company it is obsurd to hear such bad things a being said and the assumptions of ignorant people out there!

Anencephaly is a condition which part of the brain is missing. Hydrocephalus is abnormal build-up of CSF due to a blockage or re-absorption.

My beautiful daughter was born 10 weeks premature and developed Hydropcephalus and she has a brain she my inspiration and at on point did her Neurosurgeon us the words girl with no brain. This has disgusted me that a mother could sensationalise her sons disabilities for money and to give it out false information that could scare other prospective parents.

Get the facts not just someone who wants cash

I have a 16 month old little girl who has Hydrocephalus along with Spina Bifida. Like the scans shown on channel 5 " boy born with no brain" You couldnt see Alices brain and the scans shown were near identical to my daughters. Not once were we tols she had no brain .. no brain no life ! My daughter isnt brainless she is a very bright happy little girl . All chanell 5 ar doing is giving out false facts and scaring mums to be they may be carrying a child with this condition . How is a family ment to feel when they think Noah is the only boy with this condition and the child they are carrying with this condition dont have a good chance , that noah was just really lucky that thier are no other children alive like him !!

I have a son with severe hydro has had over 40 operations and is the only child known to have this at the age of 3 never have I heard he had no brain Noah is a very special boy who has been made to be a brainless little boy you can not grow a brain

This was a very misleading programme and am disgusted that it went ahead. You would have to be stupid to even think it is possible to survive without a brain. Or grow a brain what a ridiculous thing to say.

Completely appalled by this I have the conditions as well and I'd do major damage if I came across someone who labelled us like this this is completely wrong WE ARE ALL HUMAN

People need to stop being ignorant.

I watched this program and as a parent of a child with hydrocephalus from birth this lad is no different than others with hydrocephalus and do feel it was factual incorrect and done more damage than good

it is insulting to call people with hydrocephalus brainless
