It is utterly irresponsible to allow students to attend class with out proper social distancing and mandatory masks. Follow science. Implement the rules that the CDC recommends!

I am saddened as a CV community member to hear these poor student's don't have much of an option. Why should they have to make the choice. You as adult's should have ALL the kids on the same schedule....VIRTUAL OR PANDEMIC. poor kids in school all day with masks, it's like a jail. Let them stay home, safe, healthy, ALIVE, with no worries...

To abide by school safety recommendations, please consider instituting a hybrid school schedule to help control the current pandemic in the Conestoga Valley community. The health & wellness of the community should be of the utmost concern during these times.

Parent of CV graduate and middle schooler. The teachers and staff at CV have always went above and beyond to give my girls and the rest of the CV students a great education. Let’s go above and beyond for them. The hybrid model will reduce the students at school and on the bus, allowing for better social distancing. As science has shown crowded indoor spaces are a high risk area for spread. A virtual option will also allow for students that are not feeling well to stay home and still learn. Many students don’t want to miss school because they are afraid of falling behind or missing something and might still go to school if that is the only option. The past 3 days, Lancaster has moved out of the moderate risk zone and into the high risk zone . If we don’t do something, we may risk the chance of being shut down altogether. In March when we shut down there were 5,000 cases and 97 people had died. Now there are over 5,000,000 cases and 164,000 have died. More than ever we need to be proactive to protect the CV school and community.

Cv community member. I am saddened to be in the CV school district. You are putting EVERYONE in the community at risk for community spread, so sad. ALL grades should be hybrid or cyber. We should wait and see, before it's all or nothing.

CV mother who is scared that the conservative, political based school board members left all of us with no choice. Hybrid was and is the ONLY choice. How are these members some who spoke about Covid not effecting children making potentially life and death situations for teacher's, who DO not have a choice, and our kids. We are even letting one who is resigning at the meeting Monday make the decision. This blows my mind. Look at the states opening. You are about to embarass the CV name, and in return maybe have a teacher or student become ill or worse...

As both a 2006 graduate of CVHS and a former educator, I feel it is imperative that the safety of students, teachers, and staff be fully considered and that a hybrid model would be best to start the 2020-2021 school year.

Please consider a hybrid model for elementary and secondary. Less students at a time lower transmission. As an Alumnus, I don't want to see CV on the news for losing a teacher, especially one with tenure, to COVID 19
