I am a junior at CV high school and I remember in sixth grade when we lost a classmate to cancer. I was not close to him, but I watched as our community was crumbled by grief. I remember my peers crying and going through grief counseling for months after. We are facing that potential at an even bigger scale. We need to take more precautions, like this hybrid schedule, to keep the students, my peers, and our teachers safe.

Please consider the safety of our students and alternative school options such as the hybrid plan.

Do what is best for the safety of our children and their families. Following scientific guidelines is NOT living in fear.
